Xbox One Controller Preview

We were first greatly surprised from the Nintendo’s introduction in the Wiimote. Stunned by Sony’s Eyetoy and played some really competitive matches on Kinect Sports. Though just what the core gamers want is simply your standard controller. And we don’t need motion controls to play games; we demand we’ve something within our hand with thumbsticks and triggers. There aren’t any Major League Gaming tournaments for Wii Sports, right?

Now that I’m at E3 I had to get my hands on a controller in the next generation of consoles. The initial I got to play with could be the Xbox One’s. Microsoft hasn’t had a perfect reputation with controllers- anyone recall the Duke controller through the original Xbox? Luckily, this controller is more Xbox 360 system then your Duke. First thing you’ll notice is it looks a little bit greater than a 360 controller. It’s just an illusion; if something it felt more comfortable and snug within my hands compared to previous one ever did.

It is important in my opinion that they can absolutely needed to improve on was the D-Pad. The directional pad on the Xbox 360 console was unresponsive, clunky and a mess. Around the Xbox One’s version, it’s sleek (within a good way), fast plus it produces a delightful click if you apply pressure around the pad. I’m curious to view how good a fighting game may play with this particular new controller.

Cod and Halo are the Xbox’s most common games; they’re both shooters so you constantly have to use both analog sticks. So was there ways to enhance the already great analog sticks from your 360? It sure feels like they did. The analog sticks felt sensational looking sturdy and was quite accurate. Dare I believe that video gaming is becoming more detailed the accurate a sense a mouse with a computer?

Something I’d with the Xbox 360 console gamepad may be the Xbox Guide button. It’s based in the top middle part of the controller and you may accidentally hit it. Microsoft made a decision to help it become flat (and therefore harder to push unintentionally) and hang it at the summit of the controller. It was a brilliant area for the button i don’t see many individuals hitting it in the middle of gameplay.

Combined with other various upgrades made out of the Xbox 360 console controller, the triggers got a bit of love also, with rumble combined with each. This sounds absurd but when you try it yourself, you’ll commence to wonder why we did not have this before.
